1. Who We Are

Free Passport Size Photo (freepassportsizephoto.com) is a free, browser-based passport photo maker. We are operated as an independent web service. For questions, contact us at hello@freepassportsizephoto.com.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your photos or images in any form
• Biometric data or facial recognition results
• Personal identification information
• Payment information (the service is free)
• User accounts or passwords

All image processing — including background removal using WebAssembly and face detection using MediaPipe — runs entirely inside your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server.

3. Data We May Collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may collect standard server logs including:

• IP address (anonymized)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and timestamps
• Referring website

This data is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics. It is not linked to any individual identity and is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage solely to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode). We use sessionStorage temporarily to pass your image from the home page to the editor — this data is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab.

We do not set tracking cookies or use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

Our tool uses the following third-party libraries, all of which run in your browser:

• @imgly/background-removal — AI background removal, runs in-browser via WebAssembly. Model files are downloaded from the img.ly CDN.
• MediaPipe (Google) — Face detection, runs in-browser. Model files are downloaded from Google's CDN.
• Google Fonts — The Geist typeface is loaded from Google Fonts servers.

When model files are downloaded from CDNs, your IP address may be visible to those CDN providers as part of normal HTTP requests.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, rectify, or delete. If you have questions about privacy, email us at hello@freepassportsizephoto.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
